First of all, it’s close to the hospital. We came yesterday for lunch/dinner. 2 adults and a 5 year old. I had the pot roast tacos, my honey had a burger (he’s picky), and our son couldn’t decide on whether to get fish or chicken fingers. We got a child’s plat of each. He enjoyed both and had left overs. We also ordered sides of fried okra and corn fritters. Everything was delicious. Our son approves and wanted to come back. We got here before 11 am on a Sunday. They only serve breakfast on Sundays. Our son was so sad. But we got blueberry pancakes, pecan pancakes, and French toast. We’re all happy and stuffed. We’re definitely coming back here the next time we’re in town. And we have leftovers

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A HIDDEN GEM IN THE HEART OF FORT WORTH! Let me tell you something Old Neighborhood Grill is the kind of place your soul has been searching for without even knowing it. No frills. No fuss. Just real food, real love, and real Texas charm on a red checkered tablecloth. Here's how it works: you walk in, you look up at the menu above the counter, you order, you grab your drink, you sit down and then MAGIC happens. They bring the food to you and honey, when it arrives… My husband went with the NY Strip with green beans and I got the NY Strip with sautéed zucchini and squash. Both steaks were cooked to absolute PERFECTION juicy, flavorful, with a beautiful sear that meant business. The sides were fresh and seasoned just right, and those mashed potatoes smothered in gravy? A whole love language. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better… Italian Cream Cake for dessert. S-C-R-U-M-P-T-I-O-U-S. That cake had layers‼literally and spiritually. The atmosphere is warm, unpretentious, and welcoming like Sunday dinner at somebody's grandma's house who KNOWS how to cook. The prices are beyond reasonable for the quality you receive. If you're looking for a spot that feeds your body AND your spirit, Old Neighborhood Grill is it. We will absolutely be back. Don't sleep on this one, Fort Worth! #OldNeighborhoodGrill #FortWorthEats #HiddenGem #LocalLove #SteakNight #RealTexasFood

This photo of the Tablecloth tells it all. I was so enthralled with the place I forgot to take a good photo. Order at the counter and they deliver the meal. We had NY Strip Steak. We loved it. We plan to return frequently. This is a gem! Oh! One can hold a conversation! The music was nice and low, but upbeat.

I am from out of town, and needed someplace with home cooked style food that was within walking distance of the hospital (BSW food is awful). I really enjoyed the food the first time. Next day I decided to order the ribeye with collards & fried okra. Getting a steak a smaller places is usually hit or miss (mostly miss). I was pleasantly surprised. The steak was cooked at a perfect medium rare and very tender. The sides were also good. I also got a cheese and bacon quesadilla for my daughter. It was good (made with real cheese). I’ve been recommending them to all the nurses and techs. Thank you for making good food ONG.

Stopped into Old Neighborhood Grill for a classic diner-style meal and it felt like a true local spot—nothing fancy, just warm and comfortable. The menu is big enough that everyone can find something, and the food comes out hot and filling. I went with a comfort-food plate and it tasted homemade, not like a chain. Staff was friendly and kept things moving, but when it’s busy you might wait a bit for a table and for refills. Overall, it’s an easy place to come back to when you want a straightforward, satisfying meal.

For a small neighborhood grill this place is fantastic. I had the shrimp tacos which I highly recommend with their plethora of side choices on the menu their is something that your bound to pick. I had the grilled squash and zucchini which was really good. Please dont pass on this little gem.

Had dinner here with my family last weekend and overall it was a pretty good experience. The place had a relaxed atmosphere and we didn't feel rushed at all. I ordered the grilled chicken with vegetables, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. My wife enjoyed her pasta too, though she thought it could've used a little more sauce. Service was friendly and checked on us just enough without being annoying. Prices seemed fair for the quality of food. Not the most memorable meal I've ever had, but definitely somewhere I'd be happy to visit again when we're in the area.

This place was great. Very friendly, helpful and appreciative. The food was a good portions, being served fairly quickly. Everything fresh, I had chicken fried chicken, with mashed potatoes, white gravy and green beans. Yum! Great atmosphere, quiet but 50's music playing, fun atmosphere. Try it, you'll like. I'm sure!
